To create a community of youth and those that work for/with youth to meet with the shared purpose of fostering and maintaining youth wellbeing in Tamaki. Suburbs include Glen Innes, Mount Wellington, Panmure and Point England.
The Community of Practice is a space where we can see one another as a source of shared learning, where we can support one another in our individual, professional and collective kaupapa and help build one another’s capabilities.

Meeting every second Monday of the month

1x RT Practitioner (Rosita Sua) facilitates the monthly meetings and engages with community members who have a stake in young people’s wellbeing in Tāmaki during time in between monthly meetings, aiming to meet two people or groups of people at a minimum per week.
So far:

Interviewed past Community of Practice members to get a better gauge and understanding of past and current content to help inform the group’s future steps as a collective

Created a Communications Database of members and interested community members

Has successfully recruited 11 x new members

Connected with two people or groups of people at a minimum each week to recruit as members

Has been facilitating the monthly meetings and exploring how we can best learn from one another and work together
