In October 2017, Rākau Tautoko was approached to support Auckland Council in engaging key Mangere groups to come together and create a way of working together to meet the needs of the Mangere community. The following took place over two half day workshops…
- The facilitator was to enable all of the groups to work together and build a way of working with the council and all of the community groups involved.
- The core intention was to understand what each of the community groups needed to grow, and how they could work collaboratively to achieve those needs.
- There was some potential in creating a building of some kind that could be jointly owned between a collective of community organisations and Auckland Council.
Timeframe: October 2017
