On the 25th March 2023 we hosted the Ope Youth Wānanga. We had a great group of local youth that came out and took part in this wānanga. We loved spending that time with you and hearing you share your ideas!
Tara and Haare led this wānanga on the day with Carla being out due to having covid. It was an insightful day or sharing and learning together. We split into groups for some discussions, brain storming, sharing of ideas and afterwards we shared some delicious kai. Now to put some of these plans into action with these amazing youth – watch this space!
Massive thanks especially to Mara Kopu and Te Waipuna Puawai for providing their van and time to transport the youth and Onehunga Community Recycling Centre for the space.
