Working alongside one of the Playcentre Federation Professional Development Workers to create a codesign process of engagement with local Pacific Island Playcentre fanau and ensuring they are well supported and engaged in Playcentre Early Childhood Education Facilities.

TIES in 2016

Facilitating the re-growth of TIES alongside local leaders in the community of Tāmaki. Hosting and facilitating a series of meetings for community members that wanted to revitalise TIES in their practice and community.

This project involved collaborating with community organisations to understand the needs of parents of pre-schoolers in Tāmaki.  The main aim was to inspire and motivate Tamaki parents of 0 to 5 year olds to become part of the HEART Movement parenting journey and help create parent-led initiatives throughout Tamaki.  A co-design process was used to …
